ACTION 10: Host a film screening

Time required: 3 hours

June 25, the global day of action for nuclear abolition, is a perfect occasion for holding an anti-nuclear film screening. There are a number of great new films available, such as Beating the Bomb, which can be screened free of charge. You could even use the event as your own fundraiser.

Other recent films are In My Lifetime and Countdown to Zero, or you might like to bring out a classic, such as Dr Strangelove. Many cinemas allow private screenings. Alternatively, conference rooms and lecture theatres at universities often have built-in data projectors and speakers.
